Meet the Chiropractors

Dr. Chris Talley

Dr. TalleyDr. Chris Talley is a dedicated chiropractor who is devoted to improving the health and well-being of others. Born and raised in the beautiful hills of east Tennessee, Dr. Talley learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and community at a young age. He excelled in both football and baseball at Alcoa High School, and continued his football career at Rhodes College, demonstrating his commitment to teamwork and excellence.

Before he became the leader at Innate Wellness, Dr. Talley was a new college graduate working as a front desk clerk at a hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. One day, he met a guest who went by “Dr. Matt.”

When Dr. Talley found out that Dr. Matt was in chiropractic care, he thought to himself, “Oh, I didn’t know chiropractors were doctors,” Dr. Talley says now with a laugh. But the idea of solving people’s needs through holistic wellness and chiropractic care appealed to Dr. Talley, so he soon enrolled at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. It was this chance meeting that launched Dr. Talley onto his new path, as if it was always meant to be.

Having grown up in Knoxville, Dr. Talley returned to begin his own chiropractic practice-and he has not looked back. He then worked as an associate chiropractor for two years before opening his own practice, HealthSource Chiropractic, in 2013. Since then, Dr. Talley has helped countless patients overcome pain, achieve optimal health, and live their best lives.

Dr. Meghan Palmer

MegMeet Dr. Meghan Palmer, a highly skilled chiropractor and functional medicine healthcare provider who’s turning health struggles into success stories. This proud ETSU and Sherman College of Chiropractic graduate joined the fantastic team at Innate Wellness in 2026, and we are so lucky to have her!

Dr. Palmer’s story started in the Sunshine State of Florida, but at age 11, she and her family made the move to beautiful East Tennessee—and she never looked back. Today, she and her husband Mike are raising their two kids Fletcher and Gwen right here in Knoxville, where they’ve put down deep roots in the community they love.

Here’s what makes Dr. Palmer truly special: she’s walked the walk. After spending years navigating her own struggles with autoimmunity, she was inspired to become a functional medicine health coach. Now she’s dedicated to helping patients overcome their battles with autoimmunity, hormones, gut health, low energy, arthritis, brain fog, and other frustrating symptoms.

Dr. Palmer doesn’t just provide chiropractic care—she works closely with each individual to personalize their health plan with food, herbs, supplements, and lifestyle habits so they can truly thrive.

When she’s not changing lives in the office, you’ll find Dr. Palmer hiking with her family through Tennessee’s gorgeous trails, curled up with a good book, tackling yet another DIY project at home (there’s always one in the works!), or putting pen to paper with her writing. She truly knows how to balance work, family, and all the things that make life worth living!
